TWP Designs have completed a number of projects for the professional services industry, including numerous projects for solicitors and accountants.
SAP - (Heathrow) - Training Room Refurbishment - Reception Refurbishment
SAP are the world's leading provider of business software providing resource planning and related applications such as: supply chain management, customer relationship management, product life-cycle management, and supplier relationship management.
SAP asked TWP Designs to complete a refurbishment project at their training facility at Heathrow. The refurbishment project included an all new reception, 10 conference rooms with moving panelled beech walls, and a hi-tech solutions centre. The entire planning, design and execution of the project was handled by TWP Designs.
Savills, Loughton - Estate Agent Refurbishment
We have a long association with Savills the estate agent, and have carried out contracts for them throughout East Anglia. This example was handed over to us as an empty concrete box. TWP Designs completed a refurbishment project which included space planning, layout design, local planning applications, office furniture procurement, bespoke furniture design and external and internal signage.
The office refurbishment had to conform with the Savills’ corporate identity with all the ideas and concepts left to our design team.
Acting as main contractor, we equipped the site with a glazed meeting room, main sales area, storage and tea-room, plus two toilet facilities. Our responsibilities ranged from liaising with Building Control right through to making the special sales desk - a real ‘turnkey’ operation. Very similar contracts were carried out at Peterborough and Stamford.
HID - Conference Room Refurbishment - Reception Refurbishment
TWP Design we were approached by the lock and security systems specialist HID to propose how we could add some magic to their reception and sales presentation rooms. This was particularly challenging because the factory being built had originally not allowed for any clients to visit and the company had changed their approach to visits.
The design evolved over a number of site visits and meetings and was finalised during a day long brain storming session lead by TWP Designs in a conference room in St Albans.
Included in the space planning and office refurbishment:
- Curved wall and door theme
- Integral storage and display units
- Bespoke conference table that folds away and high quality chairs that are all removed so quality stackable chairs can be brought out to transform the room into a lecture theatre
- Conference table includes multi-national power and data sockets fitted into movable modules
- Display unit has numerous flat screens and swipe-card fittings which demonstrate HID’s range of security and lock systems
- Kitchen installation allows for lunch to be served and cleared away
TWP Designs also refurbished a matching reception area. The original reception area was small, confined and not very interesting. The design included special curved features to soften the look, and bespoke desk and special monitor panel, together with 600 x 600 mm Italian floor tiles.
