FTC London - Office and boardroom refurbishment with quality classic cabinet work and burr oak finish
The Problem
The FTC in London needed refurbishment specialists with knowledge of traditional working methods to provide an office complete with wall paneling and a boardroom finished in classic walnut.
FTC also needed to fit heavy plasma screens at a high level in the office without fixing them to the wall, as the building is a listed old library.
The Solution
With a history in high quality cabinet work, TWP Designs were able to design and fabricate the paneling in our own workshops. These were then transported to the FTC and fitted out of hours to keep disturbance to a minimum.
In order to position the plasma screens at the high level required, we designed and built a steel supporting structure on which we were able fix the screens to.
The steel supporting structure is fixed down to the floor, and the base cabinets re-fitted over them.

TWP Designs designed a boardroom that gave all the traditional signals of a prestigious meeting area, while concealing an interactive plasma screen within a matching cabinet. Our cabinet makers built the bespoke conference table, seating and matching furniture, using burr oak veneers and solids. The screen is connected through concealed cabling fitted into the wall, under the floor and up into the table.
