Volkswagen - Specialist area to complement exisiting car showroom
The Problem
VW decided to enter the luxury car market, but in order to do so needed to upgrade their showrooms to incorporate specialist areas capable of offering the luxury feel needed to support the new sales initiative.
The Solution
After an extensive selection process, TWP Designs were selected to undertake the project. The project included:
- Research relevant showrooms
- Design modular specialist area
- Produce detailed 3D visuals and present to VW Group
- Design and build a full size prototype
- Comprehensively test the viability of the prototype and solicit feedback from VW dealers and sales teams
- Assist selecting 32 suitable showrooms for installation
- Survey 32 individual locations
- Obtain all relevant planning approval and VW Group sign-off
- Work with the dealer to effectively plan the commercial space to incorporate the specialist area
- Complete installations in 32 sites during a rolling installation programme
- Add storage solutions to all sites
- Add point of sale display cabinets to all sites
- Fit out all new specialist areas with approved furniture and fittings
