HID - Project manage a refurbishment project to deliver an innovative and intelligent presentation room and reception area
The Problem
In a factory with no facility for a conference room, or any meeting rooms, TWP Designs were asked to help provide a state of the art presentation suite with the option to convert the space into a lecture theatre. We were also asked to design and install a demonstration wall to show off HID’s products.
The Solution
Starting with a totally blank canvas, TWP Designs planned and installed a conference room with the flexibility needed and the demonstration wall. The project was a complex and challenging one that included:
- Survey new build site
- Plan and design the conference room space
- Organise off-site planning session
- Plan additional storage area to house the high quality stackable chairs needed to convert the space into a lecture theatre
- Complete the fit-out alongside existing contractors
- Add interest to the space with the inclusion of curved walls
- Design and build modular conference table capable of folding away
- Add fitted multi-national power sockets into modular conference table
- Design and build demonstration unit and liaise with HID to install products
- Add kitchen unit to service conference room
- Complete reception area
- Install special monitor panel
- Source and fit Italian ceramic floor tiles
